The FBI is examining DNA evidence collected from Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson, Arizona, home as the bureau desperately searches for a new lead into the 84-year-old’s disappearance, according to a report.

A Florida lab that partners with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department sent the sample to the FBI, which is using new technology to perform an advanced analysis on the DNA sample — which was not newly discovered, ABC News reported.
