Chinese musicians treat Trump to ‘YMCA’ during state dinner

It’s fun to stay at the … Middle Kingdom.

A Chinese military band serenaded President Trump with one of his signature campaign songs, “YMCA” by the Village People, during a lavish state banquet in Beijing Thursday.

The set list also included Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from Disney’s movie “The Lion King,” “Edelweiss” from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music,” and the 1980s smash hit “We Are The World,” by USA For Africa, according to a photo of the program published by The Independent.

The president famously loves getting down to “YMCA,” and has often closed his campaign rallies and official events by fist-pumping to the disco hit.

Trump recently revealed that first lady Melania Trump “hates” when he starts grooving to the 1978 banger — believing his actions to be “unpresidential” — but that hasn’t seemed to stop him.
