MIAMI \u2013 France striker\u00a0Kylian Mbappe<\/a>\u00a0hit back at a Paraguayan senator, \u200bdescribing her as a \u201cdespicable woman\u201d on Monday after she launched a racist attack on him\u00a0following Paraguay\u2019s elimination \u200cfrom the\u00a0World Cup.<\/a><\/p>\n

Mbappe\u2019s penalty proved the difference in a bruising and ill-tempered match as\u00a0France won 1-0\u00a0in Philadelphia on Saturday to advance to the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

Celeste Amarilla wrote a long, racist tirade on X, describing Mbappe as a \u201ccolonised Cameroonian, desperately trying to pass himself off as French,\u201d and as a \u201cbrute\u201d who had not learned \u200bto write.<\/p>\n
