The grandma found dead alongside\u00a0her daughter and four grandchildren<\/a>\u00a0in her upstate New York home appears to have poisoned them all, police said in a shocking update Thursday \u2014 as the slain kids\u2019 father spoke of his heartbreak at never seeing them again.<\/p>\n

A handwritten note found at Amy Steadman\u2019s home \u201cstrongly suggests\u201d that she was \u201cinvolved\u201d in the deaths of her daughter, Sarah Myers, 44, and Myers\u2019 four children: Harper Harmon, 13, Hudson Harmon, 11, and 10-year-old twins Gavin and Gracelynn, Mechanicville Chief of Police Bill Rabbitt told a press conference.<\/p>\n

One of the children was stabbed, while the rest appear to have been poisoned \u2014 possibly in a rage over their dad recently getting custody,\u00a0sources told Channel 13.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is recovered evidence from inside the apartment indicating intentional poisoning \u2013 to include numerous prescriptions and over-the-counter medications,\u201d Rabbit told reporters, noting no evidence of anyone else being involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvidence recovered during the investigation, including a handwritten note, and other circumstantial evidence, strongly suggests that Amy Steadman was involved in the deaths,\u201d he said, stressing that the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

Sources told Channel 13 that the children were injected with drugs, with syringes found inside their grandma\u2019s home.<\/p>\n
