A young American boy was attacked by a shark while swimming with his brother at a resort town in\u00a0the Bahamas<\/a>, police said.<\/p>\n

The 12-year-old victim, who officials didn\u2019t identify by name, was on a family tour of the Exuma Cays on Tuesday when he decided to go swimming with his brother.<\/p>\n

The boy was on Staniel Cay island when the terrifying shark attack took place around 3:30 p.m., the Royal Bahamas Police Force said.<\/p>\n
