And one of the ways you do that is by dressing like a normal person,\u201d Vance said in the episode released Thursday. \u201cAnd I think that\u2019s \u2014 it\u2019s a very old-fashioned thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Vance, the president expects his team to always project professionalism, drawing a contrast with the style of many modern-day politicians.<\/p>\n<div It\u2019s always black shoes,\u201d Vance told Hannity of Trump\u2019s style choices.<span class=\"credit\">Hang Out with Sean Hannity\/ News<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>During a meeting in the Oval Office,\u00a0Ukrainian President Zelenskyy\u00a0was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/video\/reporter-questions-why-president-zelensky-doesnt-wear-a-suit\/\">asked by a correspondent why he chose not to wear a suit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At a follow-up\u00a0White House meeting\u00a0in August, Zelenskyy wore more formal attire than his usual military-style clothing. During that exchange, a reporter told Zelenskyy he looked \u201cfabulous in that suit,\u201d before Trump added, \u201cI said the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was not a good moment for him,\u201d Vance said of Zelenskyy, referring to the tense exchange between the Ukrainian president and US officials. \u201cAnd it\u2019s funny because things kind of worked out.
