Former soccer star Sir David Beckham reached another milestone in his remarkable career on Friday when he became the first footballer ever to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But while the ceremony was meant to celebrate his achievements, social media quickly shifted its attention to an unexpected topic \u2014 his wife Victoria Beckham\u2019s footwear<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old former England captain has built an impressive legacy both on and off the field. Since retiring from professional soccer, Beckham has transformed himself into a global businessman and entrepreneur, becoming co-owner of Inter Miami CF and expanding his influence far beyond sports.<\/p>\n

Family members gathered in Los Angeles to celebrate the special occasion as Beckham accepted one of entertainment\u2019s most prestigious honors.<\/p>\n

During his emotional speech, David reflected on his journey from humble beginnings to international stardom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been a dreamer, but I never could have imagined that an honor like this would come to a working-class English soccer player like me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also took time to thank the people who have supported him throughout his life, including his wife Victoria, their children, and his parents.<\/p>\n

Not all of the Beckham family was present, however.<\/p>\n

Three of the couple\u2019s four children attended the ceremony: Cruz, 21, Romeo, 23, and Harper. Their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, 27, was noticeably absent, along with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. Their absence comes amid ongoing reports of tension within the family.<\/p>\n

One of David\u2019s closest friends, Tom Cruise, also attended the event and delivered a speech honoring the soccer icon.<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham, meanwhile, took the stage to pay tribute to her husband with a combination of heartfelt praise and humor.<\/p>\n

The former Spice Girls member joked that she initially thought she might finally be receiving her own star for her role in the 1997 cult classic Spice World.<\/p>\n

\u201cNaturally, I assumed I was coming here today to receive my star for my part in that iconic cult-classic, Spice World: The Movie,\u201d Victoria joked.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut as it turns out, earning a star takes a little more than surviving the late \u201990s box office. It takes vision, determination, and an extraordinary amount of hard work. To see David\u2019s name become part of that story today is incredibly special.\u201d<\/p>\n

As expected, Victoria arrived in impeccable style, wearing a dress from her own Resort 2027 collection.<\/p>\n

The fashion designer has built a reputation over the years for her elegant and sophisticated looks, and this appearance was no exception.<\/p>\n

Instead, social media users became fixated on her sandals and, more specifically, the appearance of her feet.<\/p>\n

Another asked, \u201cWhy are her toes all mashed up in those sandals?\u201d<\/p>\n
