Knicks point guard Jose Alvarado started his victory tour in his native Brooklyn by making a surprise appearance in the Knickerbocker Avenue Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Alvarado ditched his white tank top and waved it over his head while the\u00a0crowd chanted \u201cKnicks in five!\u201d<\/a>\u00a0during the eighth annual parade in Bushwick.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you guys so much, it means the world to me. Really,\u201d Alvarado said as he stood on a float. \u201cI\u2019m a kid from Brooklyn. And the Knicks party f\u2013kin\u2019 did it.\u201d<\/p>\n
